Translation tools

The translators and project managers at Global textware work with a variety of different translation tools and quality assurance (QA) software. We’re familiar with most CAT tools on the market. A lot of experience is required to work with these tools, let alone use them effectively. Think about using translation memories appropriately, or managing terminology, or performing QA checks. You can leave this to our translators and project managers. Above all, they’re always willing to discover new tools. We commonly work with the following translation software:

Customization and APIs

Global textware has its own in-house IT team. This allows us to collaborate with our clients in terms of technology. We aim to reduce the number of actions required to set a job in motion, so we can focus on what we do best: translation. Opening hundreds of hand-off emails by hand, dragging files to various destinations, and scouring portals for the right content; this doesn’t excite us. Our IT team is always working on new solutions to improve the efficiency of our translation processes. This saves our clients time and money. Global textware offers custom solutions in the following areas:

Own intranet

Our IT team spends a lot of time on improving our processes for our clients. Aside from that, they further develop our intranet system. This is an all-in-one system: project management, staff management, client management, invoicing, and vendor management. The biggest advantage of this is that we can design our translation process according to our clients’ needs. We are also extraordinarily proud of our own online LQA-system, where our translators can provide feedback in a quick and easy way without the need for Excel documents.
