We are hoping for a succesful continuation of our collaboration in 2010. To start with, we have already continued our tradition of the past few years to support some important development projects in Nepal.

New projects

As in previous years, we are acting on our involvement with Nepal this year. We have previously contributed to the health post. Now its sanitation is overdue for renovation. In addition, we are donating thirty 25-liter clean water containers to build up a water reserve in case the system is unable to provide sufficient water. The water system works on electricity and solar energy, but the former is occasionally interrupted and the second is not guaranteed either. The education system in Chitwan can use a few laptops, which we will enable them to acquire this year.

All aid work is carried out in cooperation with local service providers and suppliers. That way, we are sure that all our financial resources are used to benefit the projects and local suppliers.
