Elly van Nieff

My name is Elly van Nieff and I have been working as a management assistant for Global textware in Groningen since 1 January 2007.
Having been employed at contractor's firm for 10 years, I have landed in a completely different world where digital traffic and 'Save as' have assumed the place of paper and document files. Nevertheless, they do have their similarities, so I have every faith that, in the long run, along with Raymund Prins and the rest of the rather pleasant group, I will be able to maintain and perhaps even extend the success of this organization.
In my leisure time you will find me on the sidelines of football pitches all over the Netherlands, and on the squash court on a Wednesday where I attempt to blow off the cobwebs of sitting still. The time that remains is spent organizing the members of a fanatical football family consisting of a footballing father and two footballing sons (the elder is goalkeeper).
In terms of character, you could best describe me as an energetically organizing go-getter, an attitude that seems to fit ideally into an organization like this one.

After completing my course in American Studies in the mid-nineties, I first worked freelance.
In 1998 I joined up with LINE UP textware, the precursor of the present-day Global textware.
Within the company I have gradually evolved from translator to editor, with the latter function currently representing the principal part of my duties. In the course of time I have developed a preference for marketing and games, although several telecom projects also belong to my regular responsibilities.
In addition, I have been working for aeons on our Lexmark account, which, to my great satisfaction, has enabled me to pay the odd visit to America, the country where I studied for one semester as an exchange student in 1992. To me, working with Global textware means being a part of a young, dynamic and amiable organisation in which I can continue to develop.
