I was born in The Hague in 1980 and moved to Nieuwegein when I was seven. Ten years later I moved to Groningen, where I still live. I studied Technical Land Use Planning and English at the University of Groningen. In September 2006 I started working at Global textware. Here I partake in several projects, including Océ, Cisco and Nero. Although proofreading and project management are daily tasks, I like translating best, especially marketing content. The best part about working at Global textware are my colleagues. They are always at the ready to provide a helping hand and you can laugh with them.
In my spare time I make music. I've played in the band Swansdown and now I write for my project Death of Dawn. Furthermore, I organise gothic/industrial parties, where I spin as well. If there's time, I like to sit on the couch reading a good book, often fantasy novels, but literature too. |
