For the second time, Global textware staff and a number of guest runners put their best feet forward in 2009 by taking part in the 4 Mijl van Groningen.  This year's good cause was the Dutch Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (NCFS). This charitable organisation supports people with Cystic Fibrosis. Once all runners had passed the finish line of the 6437-meter run, a check was handed to the NCFS for the amount raised of € 62,500!

The route had changed somewhat this year, and took the runners right through the center of Haren. Whether this or adverse weather conditions were the cause, we will never know, but the fact is that the results were somewhat disappointing this year:

Global textware ended 142nd out of 887 corporate teams.
